F.B. Purity's Features
Fluff Busting Purity hides application messages and also hides "Became a friend of","Joined a group","Became a fan of","Is attending event" type messages, which are referred to as "Extras"
Application Whitelist
The application whitelist lets you specify particular applications, whose messages you *do* want to see on your homepage. The script comes with a default list of applications that will not be hidden by the F.B. Purity app filter.
This list includes the following applications: FB for Iphone, FB for Blackberry, FB for Palm, FB for Android, Tweetdeck, Digsby, Tumblr and Selective Twitter.

Extras Blacklist
By default the "Extras" that the script hides are:
- "Became a Fan Of"
- "Joined a Group"
- "Became a Friend of"
- "Is Attending an event"
- "Attended an Event"
Additional optional "Extras" that can also be hidden, but are shown by default are:
- "Commented on/Likes Status"
- "Tagged in/Likes/Commented on Photo"
- "Tagged in Album"
- "Commented on/Likes Album"
- "Commented on/Likes Link"
- "Wall Comments"
- "Group Wall Comments"
- "Liked" (Became a fan of)
- "Page Wall Comments"
- "Posted an Event"
- "Attending an event"
- "Attended an event"
- "Updated profile info"
- "Changed profile pic"
- "Changed relationship status"
If you would rather see one, some or all of these messages, You can edit the default list, to your taste. Instructions on how to do this is here:

Custom Text Filter
Using the Custom Text Filter, You can now hide posts that feature specific words or phrases that you don't want to see in your newsfeeds. For instructions on how to do this, see the:

Hide the Suggestions Box
The script has the capability of hiding the "Suggestions" Box, to hide it, simply tick the corresponding box in the F.B Purity options screen.
Hide the Sponsored Box
The script has the capability of hiding the "Sponsored" Box, to hide it, simply tick the corresponding box in the F.B Purity options screen.
Hide the Connect With Friends Box
The script has the capability of hiding that annoying "Connect With Friends" Box, to hide it, simply tick the corresponding box in the F.B Purity options screen.
Hide the Beta Testers Wanted Box
The script has the capability of hiding the "Beta Testers Wanted" Box, to hide it, simply tick the corresponding box in the F.B Purity options screen.
Block Applications Directly From Your News Stream
Fluff Busting Purity adds a "Block App" link, next to the "Hide" button above application posts in your news stream, which lets you completely block the application from getting any information about you, sending you notifications, or invites to add the application. (N.B Facebook's built in "hide" button only hides the application messages from your stream, it does not stop invites or notifications, or stop the application from reading your profile data)
