If you are resetting for troubleshooting purposes, make sure you backup your settings first before resetting, which you can do using the <strong>Export Settings<\/strong> link, that way you will be able to easily restore your settings again if you need to.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fixed:<\/strong>\u00a0&#8220;<strong>Show deactivated friends<\/strong>&#8221; functionality. Previously it was stalling until the user started to scroll the page down, the function should start automatically once the &#8220;<strong>Show deactivated friends<\/strong>&#8221; link is clicked, and it will also show you how many friends it has processed and how many are left to go, instead of leaving you wondering if its actually working or not. (Aim for around 36&#215;36 pixels)<\/li>\n<li><strong>New:\u00a0<\/strong>option titled &#8220;<strong>Highlight Public Posts<\/strong>&#8220;, this option adds &#8220;<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>**PUBLIC POST**<\/strong><\/span>&#8221; in bright red text at the top of any public posts in the newsfeed. This option may be useful for people who don&#8217;t want to &#8220;like&#8221; or accidentally comment on public posts for privacy reasons.\n<p><div style=\"width: 342px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/KncBkdd.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"332\" height=\"258\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Screenshot showing FBP&#8217;s new &#8220;Highlight Public Posts&#8221; option, That makes it clearer when a post shown in your newsfeed&#8217;s has its privacy setting set to public<\/p><\/div><\/li>\n<li><strong>Changed:<\/strong>\u00a0moved the Hide &#8220;<strong>Newsfeed<\/strong>&#8221; option to top of &#8220;<strong>Newsfeed filters<\/strong>&#8221; section of the FBP options screen and renamed it Hide &#8220;<strong>The Whole Newsfeed<\/strong>&#8220;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Changed:<\/strong> moved the &#8220;<strong>Bring back square profile icons<\/strong>&#8221; option to the &#8220;<strong>Fonts, colour and design<\/strong>&#8221; section of the FBP options screen.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fixed: <\/strong>the<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>broken <strong>FBP<\/strong> fan page news icon in the left column<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Important Information for Microsft Edge users of FB Purity<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>FB Purity<\/strong> is now available as an official Microsoft Edge extension available directly from the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/store\/productid\/9MXGZZ40KDLN\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Microsoft Edge store<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0 So the old method of installing the FBP GM Script via the Tampermonkey extension is no longer required. If you install the official Edge FBP extension from the Microsoft Edge store, it should auto update when new versions are released in future.
