F.B. Purity v37.3.3 is out now. Fixes Hiding Reels+Sponsored Posts + New Newsfeed Sort options.

Whats New /  Changed in FBP V37.3.3

• Fixed the Hide Sponsored Posts option, it should now catch more Sponsored Posts in the Newsfeed than before.
• Fixed : Hide Reels option (It now also hides the big blank black/grey posts that turn into reels (which are actually a Facebook bug) N.B The hide Reels option is under the “Video posts” heading on the FBP options screen.
  

  How to Block Reels using F.B. Purity

• when you click on them. The reason the posts are blank is a Facebook bug)
• Fixed : Replay Friend Alert Box, it now shows in the FBP info bar when an alert is available.
• Fixed : Hide Group Chats option.
• Added : News Sort: Friends Feed option that permanently redirects the Newsfeed to the Friends Feed page
• Added : News Sort: Favorites option. It keeps your newsfeed/home page permanently redirected to the Favorites Feed page.
• Fixed a bug in the show deactivated friends function. You can view your list of Deactivated Friends, by going to your profile / friends page, then click the “Show Deactivated Friends” link near the top of the page.
• Fixed and Updated Hide All Videos option to also catch Reels posts. (This option may be useful for those who are in the Facebook test group that are having the endlessly looping video previews on all videos in the Newsfeed)  N.B The “Hide All Videos” option is under the “Video posts” heading on the FBP options screen.
• Removed a bunch of options that were obsolete to clean up the options screen a bit.

Known Issues: The News Sort Most Recent, News Sort: Friends Feed and News Sort: Favorites options when enabled, permanently redirect your Newsfeed/Home Page to the specific Feeds Page you have selected. Facebook’s Feeds Pages do not have the same design as the standard Newsfeed page, and are missing various things such as the Chat box in the right hand column, and the “Create a Post” box. You can still access the create a post box, by clicking the “Create Post” link at the top left that FBP adds, or simply click the 3×3 Grid button in the top navigation bar, which brings you various options including the “Create Post” button. To temporarily go back to the standard/default newsfeed, you can simply click hte “Back to Top Posts” link at the top left of the feed page, there you will see the standard newsfeed with all the bells and whistles that page has., or if you decide you just dont like the Feeds pages, simply turn off whichever  “News Sort” FBP option you have turned on.
